Simple Plan are on their way to Australia where they will continue the Get your heart on! tour 2012, but what have they been doing from the end of April until now?

They had a couple of weeks well deserved rest, at least for a while. They only got to rest for a couple of minutes before Chuck started working again with their secret projects. One has been confirmed to be a book. Remember the fanbook I wrote about last year? Well, this is it. Only written by Simple Plan.
It will contain photos we haven't seen before, the bands biography and lots of fun stuff we didn't know or haven't seen before! The book will be avilable for all fans around the world and will be out sometime in November.

Then April turned into May and Chuck went together with Eric Lawrence to Singapore where they attented the Music Matters conference, where they talked about how important music is. They didn't just listen, they also gave their own speeches. Chuck has become known through the years as someone who speaks a lot about how important music is. He knows this from his own experiences and from fan stories.

Soon after that, the entire band went to Vietnam to attend Anti-Trafficking meetings where they have helped spreading the message of trafficking and how important it is that it stops. Together with Astronauts around the world, #StopHumanTrafficking was on top of Trending Topics Worldwide and 40,000 fans came out rocking with the band.
After the show they have been going around in Vietnam to meet different organizations and people who have been victims of Human Trafficking.

Now it's almost June and time for the Australian tour, then it's time for festivals in Europe!

Simple Plan är just nu på väg till Australien för att återuppta Get your heart on! tour 2012, men vad har de haft för sig från turnéns slut i april fram tills nu?

De hade ett par veckors välförtjänad vila, ett tag i alla fall. De hann bara vila ett par minuter innan Chuck var igång igen och jobbade med de hemliga projekten. Ett har avslöjats vara en bok. Minns ni fanboken vi skrev om förra året? Detta är den, men skriven av Simple Plan.
Den kommer innehålla massor av bilder vi aldrig sett förut, bandets biografi och massor av andra roliga saker vi inte hade en aning om! Boken kommer finnas tillgänglig för alla fans över hela världen och kommer ut i november.

Sedan blev det maj och Chuck åkte tillsammans med Eric Lawrence till Singapore för att närvara vid Music Matters, en konferens om hur viktigt musik är. De var inte bara med och lyssnade, utan höll också tal. Chuck har gjort sig känd genom åren med hur viktigt han anser musik är. Det har han lärt sig genom egna erfarenheter och fansen berättelser.

Strax efter det åkte hela bandet till Vietnam för att vara med på Anti-Trafficking möten där de har hjälpt till att sprida budskapet om trafficking och att det måste stoppas. Tillsammans med Astronauts över hela världen blev #StopHumanTrafficking etta på Trending Topics Worldwide på twitter och 40.000 fans kom och rockade med Simple Plan.
Efter spelningen har de åkt runt i Vietnam för att träffa de olika organisationera och de utsatta människorna.

Nu är det snart juni och dags för Australiens turné, sedan blir det dags för festivaler i Europa!

Återigen, massa skola och annat att göra. Plus inte världens bästa humör.
Once again, so much to do in school and other stuff... Plus I haven't been in the best of mood.

The song Jet Lag was released a year ago and have several languages and versions behind the original version with  Natasha Beddingfield. The original language was in English but Jet Lag has also been released in French and Chinese among others.

Now there will be a new version of Jet Lag, a Willy Wonka version!
Simple Plan will together with Willy Wonka candy company create a new version of the hit single Jet Lag. The fans of Canada can now write the new lyrics to the chocolate version of the song and a lucky winner will get to record it with Simple Plan in a studio. 

The beggining will go like this:
What time is it where you are?
I miss my WONKA more than anything
I've never loved like this before

Låten Jet Lag som släpptes för drygt ett år sedan har flera olika språk och versioner bakom sig. Den första och officiella versionen är på engelska featuring Natasha Beddingfield, den finns också på bl.a. franska och kinesiska.

Nu kommer ytterligare en version, en Willy Wonka version!
Simple Plan kommer att tillsammans med Willy Wonkas godisförlag (Willy Wonka candy company) att spela in en helt annorlunda version av Jet Lag. De som bor i Kanada kommer att få skriva om texten till Jet Lag till en choklad version. Vinnaren kommer att få spela in den nya låten tillsammans med Simple Plan i en studio.

The Canadian music station Much Music are hosting their annual Much Music Video Awards again and this year has Simple Plan been nominated in two categories.

The first category is Best international video by a Canadian and this is for the video Astronaut. They're competing against Justin Bieber, Avril Lavigne Drake and Nickelback in this category.

The second category is in UR FAVOURITE MUSIC VIDEO, thanks to their amazing fans and they have been nominated with the video Summer Paradise. If the band is going to win against Carly Rae Jepsen, Drake, Hedley and Marianas Trench you have to go to their website and vote for them. You can vote here

Den kanadensiska musik stationen Much Music håller varje år Much Music Video Awards och i år har Simple Plan nominerats i två kategorier.

Den första nomineringen är Bästa internationella videon av en kanadensare och det är för musikvideon Astronaut. I den här kategorin tävlar de mot Justin Bieber, Avril Lavigne, Drake och Nickelback.

Den andra kategorin bandet är nominerade i är tack vare sina fans. De har nominerats i Din favorit video med Summer Paradise. Om bandet ska vinna över de andra tävlande; Carly Rae Jepsen, Drake, Hedley och Marianas Trench måste man gå in på Much Musics hemsida och rösta på dem. Rösta här

It has now been one month since Simple Plan played in Stockholm and entered Tyrol.
The night offered a lot of laughter, tears, song and dance.

What did you think was the best?
Something that was really magical was This song saved my life, the energy they had - they never let it go down - and their funny little speech about Sweden where the main focus was on IKEA.

Simple Plan has through the years gotten known for their connection with the fans and their great energy on stage that they bring to every show. David stage dived, did a balancing act while still playing and everyone besides Pierre went down and walked along the sides and surprising the fans. 

One month has passed since the last show, however it's only 41 days remaining until Peace & Love

Det har nu gått en månad sedan Simple Plan spelade i Stockholm och intog Tyrol.
Kvällen bjöd på mycket skratt, tårar, sång och dans.

Vad tyckte ni var bäst?
Något som verkligen var magiskt var This song saved my life, energin de hade - den föll aldrig - och deras roliga lilla tal om Sverige där IKEA verkligen hade fokus.

Simple Plan har genom åren gjort sig kända för sin kontakt med fansen och energin de har till varje spelning. David stage dived, gick balansgång längs sidan samtidigt som han spelade och alla utom Pierre gick omkring längs sidan och överraskade fansen.
