Another person who works with the band has confirmed that Simple Plan will do another tour in Europe before Christmas.
They will be on the continent for six weeks and even this time, they will visit Sweden.

Ytterligare en person som jobbar för bandet har bekräftat att Simple Plan kommer göra ännu en Europa turné innan jul.
De kommer att befinna sig på kontinenten i sex veckor och även denna gång besöker de Sverige.

Get your heart on
Get your heart on! Became Simple Plan’s fourth studio album and today it has been one year since it was released. They worked with the album on and off since Simple Plan was released, but they spent day and night in the studio from July 27 2010 until November 10 2010.
Simple Plan’s first two albums were very playful, with just a few heavy songs. The point with them was to make people dance, get happy and express emotions. The third record on the other hand was very heavy with a lot of emotional songs. For the fourth record, they wanted to get back to their old style and made a mix of No pads, no helmets… just balls and Still not getting any… most elements came from the first record.
They had five collaborations for this record, you can hear Natasha Beddingfield (English) and Marie Mai (French) on Jet Lag, we hear Rivers Cuomo on Can’t keep my hands off you, Alex Gaskarth sings on Freaking me out and K’naan was the one who sang on the original version of Summer Paradise. And of course, on This song saved my life we get to hear fans singing.
This song saved my life is inspired by the fans, especially by letters they have read. they have also heard stories that fans told them face to face. The song was written to show how important music can be, that you have something to relate to in order to make it through the day. Chuck asked asked everyone to send him their story on Twitter and tell him what Simple Plan has done frp them and he got fragments that later became This song saved my life.

Fan of the month in June is someone from Sweden, meet Sophie Carlbrant!
She's 19 years old and she's turning 20 on July 7th, she has been a fan for about a year and a half. She saw them for the first time in Stockholm on April 17 and that was the first time she met them. Apart from Simple Plan, she also listens to All time low, Marianas Trench, 30 seconds to Mars, and We the kings. Her ten favourite songs are Welcome to my life, Your love is a lie, Gone too soon and Summer Paradise with Simple Plan. Others are Weightless with All time Low, Haven't had enough and Sing sing with Marianas Trench, Kings & Queens - 30 seconds to Mars and Deserth Rose with Sting.
Apart from music she's also into movies and her favourite movies are Harry Potter, Just go with it, Fast and the furious, A beautiful mind and Disney.
There is no one in particular who inspires her the most, they all do and help her to grow into a better person and they help her to dare to believe in her dreams. The reason why Sophie adores these five guys is because they managed to live their dreams, they're also very easy to like. They are people who listen, they care and they support good causes. They're just in general good people, according to Sophie.
If she got to spend the day with the guys she wouldn't plan anything, just see where things goes. She would most likely just sit down and talk to them, but thinks it would be really cool to go to Gröna Lund or Liseberg.

2012 is a huge year for Simple Plan, later this year they will release a EP with un-released songs, they will also release a new DVD and a book, and now this: a double album featuring the albums No pads, no helmets... just balls and Get your heart on!
The album will cost about 13 Euros, but it has not been announced wether the album will be released just in France or everywhere.

There were no awards for Simple Plan at the MMVa's of 2012, even though the fans voted like crazy.
But no one was very sad about that, both Simple Plan and Proud Of Simple Plan trended worldwide on Twitter, and as usual, the guys thanked their amazing Astronauts.
