Simple Plan was recently named Personality of the Year at a gala in Montréal. This was followed up with a number of interviews where Chuck and Pierre confirmed that it is time for a new album.

 

They released their fourth studio album Get Your Heart On! in 2011, and have since then tourned non-stop with few pauses. They were in Europe, USA, Canada, Asia, South America and Australia. This summer they will go on yet another tour, and afterwards they will begin writing songs for their fifth album which will probably be released in the end of 2014/the beginning of 2015.
